Kyo-sai Handkerchief
Each handkerchief is carefully printed and sewn by textile printing based on designs derived from ukiyoe, fusuma-e (sliding door paintings) of temples and shrines, and byobu-e (folding screen paintings). Please take a look at this picture-like handkerchief.

Cotton lawn is a thin and light plain weave fabric. It is soft to the touch and has a luxurious feel.

Kuniyoshi Utagawa [Cat’s curved fan]
This handkerchief is based on the motif of a cat’s curved ball by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, an ukiyoe artist of the Edo period.
The shape and shading of the fan are also expressed as is on this piece.
