Explanation
WESTRIDE “ARMY UTILITY SHIRTS”.
Based on the 20’S original ARMY UTILITY SHIRTS VINTAGE, a new work faithfully made with cotton thread needles and sewing surfaces. A masterpiece of military vintage, the pre-war US ARMY denim pullover shirt would have been customized at that time as a “full button type”. It will be a piece made with the image of this specification, which is extremely rare in VINTAGE clothing. Since the actual denim pullover shirt was worn by a captured soldier, many of them have stencils called “PW” and “P”, which are abbreviations for “Prisoner of war = prisoner of war”, and in the second-hand clothing market, valuable vintage items in good condition are traded at surprisingly high prices. With the motif of the custom version of the full button type, the fabric is 9.5oz denim with ears. Even in sewing, it is expressed with uncompromising craftsmanship down to the details. It is made with many details such as the characteristic placket pocket, the hand-applied U.S ARMY aluminum donut button, and the paper tag that peels off the coating when worn and eventually only the thread remains.
